iPhone 3G – summer 2008
The executive committee of TMUG had decided a while back that we were remiss in not centering a program on the iPhone 3G, despite it being launched waaaay back in July. Since then, it has sold incredibly well, and to rave reviews, but there have been some glitches too. Come one come all to this month's meeting, where a few bold people will provide their experiences directly to you. After Bob Chandler's return this month as Q&A moderator, new president Stefan Jeglinski will finally step up to the plate to present an overview of Apple's latest technology triumph. The main program will feature Rob Terrell, the locally-located developer of Sumo!, an iPhone app that will hopefully make him millions of [name your favorite currency here]. After the commotion recedes, Allen Emory and Smythe Richbourg will show off their iPhones and talk about their experiences and favorite apps. If you have an iPhone (2.75G or 3G) or an iPod Touch (the cool sister to the iPhone), feel free to share your experiences as well - we always love for volunteers to get up and try out the sound system!!
