Treasury & Membership Reports
- Members in good standing:, with renewals due, in grace, & recently expired.
- There were x in attendance at the July meeting – y members & z visitors; 1 joined & 2 renewed at the meeting.
- Cash in Wachovia checking account: $4091.42 excluding two uncleared checks
- Real account balance is $4043.82 which includes 3 membership renewals received at the PO Box since the July meeting
- Money Market and CD Rates from Wachovia
- Based on a $3,000 investment, the current MM interest rate is 0.6% and the 6 month CD interest rate is 0.7%.
- The officers agreed to leave our cash in the checking account and drop the idea of CD's or any other interest bearing instrument.
- July Raffle
- iPod Touch cost $180 against $165 in ticket sales
- Cort wrote check to Allen for the iPod Touch

New Business
- Allen wants to use the mailing labels to send out "We missed you at the last meeting" to encourage more participation from our membership.
- Recommended by Smythe or Allen to ask the members what they want to see raffled and what price for tickets.
Old Business
- we need to updae the tmug.org domain whois info
- the technical contact is still listed as Paul Lemieux
- Smythe suggests that we should blog Q&A each month
- we need to identify someone to do it
- TMUG server
- [from Oct - ] Stefan has talked with MacHighway. One of the issues is that they don't use a Postfix email / Cyrus for IMAP system. (no new info)
